& practical aspects of engineering

The Electronics
and Telecommunication Engineering has come up a long way in short
span of five years in terms of magnificent achievements. The department
has well qualified, highly efficient teaching staff who maintain
a healthy relationship with the students to bring out their academic
development to higher level. |
All
the laboratories required for imparting best practical training
to Electronics & Telecommunication engineers have
been set up with great care. Students in these laboratories
have hands on experience on the latest equipments
available like 100 MHz Digital Storage Oscilloscope Microwave Bench
& Trainer Kits in latest Microprocessor, Micro controllers,
Industrial instrumentation, Optical Fiber, Digital Communication
and Digital Signal Processing. Practical training is also
imparted in design & analysis of electronics circuits. |

BASIC ELECTRONICS
LAB : This is the initial step of a to be Electronics Engineers.
This lab provides an insight into the vast world of electronics.
It covers all the basic “Elements of Electronics” an
essential & integral part of the curriculum. Here various discipline
Budding engineers are welcomed to carry on the practical session
for basic electronics subjects |

LABORATORY:

Digital
Laboratory:Once
the base is strong we build the foundation in this lab. This lab
opens the door to the electronics world. Here the provision is made
to carry out practical sessions in electronic devices circuits I
& II.. PCB etching is also done by our enthusiastic students.
All the material required for PCB making is available in the lab.
In the same lab, power electronic practical are conducted. Power
electronics is a branch of Electrical Engineering devoted to conversion
and control of electrical power using electronic converters and
thus is introduced in the curriculum. This lab is equipped with
trainer kits as well as converters, invertors, power oscilloscopes
which help the students to study the control and conversion of electrical
power. Since this converters have key positions in the area of distribution
and usage of electrical power. |

Laboratory :
This
forms the core of the department. This lab doubles Audio and Video
Engineering Lab and Electronic Measuring Lab.We have mixed Oscilloscope,
Audio Video VCR , Tape deck, Field Strength meter, TV, Digital Storage
Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer. Network and line practicals are
conducted in this lab. Lab is having number of Trainer Kits for
the students. All this instruments are purchased from well known
companies Dombe Electronics. |

Micro controller sessions are conducted. Microprocessor and micro
controller is backbone of Electronics and Telecommunication branch. |

Electronics field we give an exposure to allied branches like Instrumentation
through practical sessions like Feedback Control Systems, Mechanical
Processes and Systems. |

the students are exposed to vast the vast and different fields.
Here they get to learn and perform practical in radiation and microwave
techniques, fiber optic communication. As the lab is well equipped
with instruments such as Benchmark Universal Kit and Agilent OTDR
optical fiber with 1 km which are part of latest trends in technology.
Along with this, lab provides facility of building and testing circuits
of Integrated Circuit Application and Digital Electronics.
